Resident Aide

About the role

Join our team at Bridgeway Park Blissfield Senior Living Facility in Blissfield as a Med Tech. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents in a welcoming environment with competitive pay rates.

Part-time schedule: 6am - 2pm.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
• Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
• Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
• Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicating any changes to the supervisor
• Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
• Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
• Utilizing good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
• Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
• Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs promptly
• Obtaining meal trays and assisting with eating
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Experience in medication administration and working with seniors
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation
• Availability to work every other weekend is required
