Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a positive social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual living environment for pregnant mothers and their children.
• Helping residents resolve issues and preparing them for a vibrant, independent life through teaching life skill courses and demonstrating good decision-making.
• Cleaning rooms to prepare them for new moms, cooking meals, organizing donations, and making welcome baskets.
• Assisting with childcare and parenting skills.
• Overseeing the operations of the home, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and teaching and mentoring residents about the “why’s” behind the house rules and policies.
• Handling basic paperwork, such as preparing reports and maintaining documentation, to keep the home running smoothly and professionally.
• Serving as a supervisor to handle crisis situations or complex issues.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, with an Associates degree preferred.
• A drivers license, vehicle insurance, and a clean driving record.
• The ability to pass a criminal/child protection background check.
