Resident Activities Aide (Wellness Coordinator)
About the role
The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for meeting the social and therapeutic needs of the residents through activities, wellness interventions, leisure programming, and continued interaction with community groups. Completes the wellness assigned portion of the assessment process. Provides relevant daily events and programming to meet the needs of the residents.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record. If leading the program, the candidate must meet federal regulations 483.15(f)(2), which requires being a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional, or having 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program, or being a qualified occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant, or having completed a training course approved by the State.

Preferred qualifications include being in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant Registry, having BLS and First Aid certification, and experience in long term care.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $16.15-$16.95.
