Residence Director
Are you passionate about student development, leadership, and creating inclusive communities? The University of Vermont’s Department of University Housing & Dining Services (UHDS) is seeking a Residence Director to support a dynamic residential Learning Community and help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom. As a live-on professional staff member, the Residence Director supervises Resident Advisors, builds community through restorative practices and student engagement, supports student success initiatives, and participates in an on-call rotation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years experience working in residential life
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs, Student Personnel, Counseling, Education, or Adult Education

Pay
$41,000-$42,000 (11-months)
Schedule
- 11-month position, July 1 – May 31
- Weekend work required
- Non-standard work hours required
- Occasional evening and/or weekends required
- Required to live on-campus
Successful candidates will be subject to a background check due to the live-in nature of this position. This position is FLSA exempt and part of the UVMSU union.
