Our community residence program offers more than just a roof—it is the foundation where people begin to rebuild their life in a safe environment supported by people whose primary goal is client success! If you are dedicated, empathetic, and possess strong crisis intervention skills with a passion for advocacy we want to hear from you. As a Residence Counselor at Catholic Charities of Fulton & Montgomery Counties you will support and guide residents living in supportive housing. A successful Residence Counselor will thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment where active listening and structured routine can turn a stressful day into a safe, empowering haven for residents. As the Residence Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact by:

• Delivering personalized behavioral care that honors each resident's unique needs, choices, and journey toward independent living.
• Serve as a positive role model for residents, fostering a supportive community environment.
• Develop and implement Individual Action Plans (IAPs) to teach vital independent living skills—such as money management, nutrition, and socialization—while delivering approved Medicaid-billable services.
• Complete accurate assessments, progress notes, monthly summaries, and medication logs.
• Respond effectively to emergencies, demonstrating appropriate assessment skills and crisis intervention techniques.
• Mentor and train incoming residence counselor staff to ensure high-quality care.

Pay

Residence Counselor Pay - $20 per hour. Opportunities for advancement and increased pay are available as you grow with the Catholic Charities!

Schedule

We are seeking a dependable team member to join our Residence Counselor team for overnight coverage. This position offers a structured evening and overnight schedule with a designated sleep period between lights out and lights on. Sunday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM Monday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM Tuesday Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 AM Saturday
