About the role

The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix (COM-P) is seeking a highly motivated candidate for the full-time position of Researcher/Scientist III in Dr. Tobias Jaković's laboratory. The lab is focused on the interplay of different RNA species and their underlying functional networks in the heart. The successful candidate will contribute towards research and research-related service in the area of translational cardiovascular research.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research projects related to the interplay of different RNA species and their functional networks in the heart under the guidance of Dr. Tobias Jaković.
• Participate in research-related service activities that support the mission of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other researchers and staff members.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in RNA biology, genomics, or related fields.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Interest in translational cardiovascular research.

Skills
