Location: Fully Remote Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time About The Role We are seeking a licensed, Board-certified Veterinarian to review and evaluate nominations for compounded drug substances used in nonfood-producing animals, food-producing animals, and free-ranging wildlife, in accordance with FDA-established criteria. This is a fully remote position and may be structured as part-time or full-time based on candidate availability. Compensation: $80,000-$90,000/year (Full-Time); part-time compensation prorated accordingly Responsibilities Review and evaluate nominations for compounded drug substances used in nonfood-producing animals, food-producing animals, and free-ranging wildlife in accordance with FDA-established criteriaConduct scientific and clinical research using peer-reviewed literature, veterinary and pharmacology references, professional resources, and consultations with subject matter experts to support evaluationsAnalyze available evidence and apply clinical expertise to assess the safety, effectiveness, medical necessity, and appropriateness of nominated substancesDevelop recommendations regarding the inclusion of substances on FDA compounding lists and prepare comprehensive reports documenting findings, supporting evidence, and rationaleCollaborate with FDA veterinarians and other stakeholders by participating in meetings, sharing insights, discussing findings, and contributing to regulatory decision-makingFollow established review procedures, guidance documents, and project requirements while managing assignments independentlyCollect, track, and analyze project-related data and statistics to support reporting and program objectivesProvide veterinary subject matter expertise across a variety of species, including companion animals, livestock, wildlife, and exotic animals Requirements Required Qualifications Board-certified Veterinarian from an accredited schoolActive veterinary license in good standing in the state where employedExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce technical and scientific reportsStrong analytical, research, and critical thinking abilitiesExperience working independently and managing multiple review assignmentsClinical knowledge and experience treating companion animals, including dogs, cats, and horsesFamiliarity with veterinary pharmacologyAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Preferred Qualifications Clinical experience with zoo, exotic, wildlife, avian, reptile, or nontraditional animal species Benefits MPF Federal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
