Responsibilities
- Perform survival surgical procedures on mice, including handling, restraint, anesthesia, surgical heterotopic and orthotopic tumor fragment and tumor cell implantations, euthanasia, tissue collection, and tissue cryopreservation
- Record study data within the laboratory information management system
- Read, understand, and adhere to study protocols
- Perform general study preparation and organizational activities, including sample tube labeling, supply organization and stocking, and laboratory organization
- Work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis
Productivity Expectations: 150 unilateral NUDE PS/day, 60 bilateral NOG warm stock/day, and 60 bilateral NOG cryo stock/day. To be attained within 3 months of training completion.

Qualifications
- Preferred: BS degree in animal science, biology, pharmacology, or related field
- Preferred: AALAS certification
- Preferred: 2 years of related experience in a contract research animal facility or similar setting
