Research Technician II

About the role

This position supports the Principal Investigator's laboratory research in biomedical engineering, encompassing both in vivo and in vitro experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage mouse colony husbandry with minimal supervision
• Prepare and purify proteins
• Maintain laboratory equipment and reagents
• Handle administrative tasks such as ordering supplies for day-to-day laboratory maintenance
• Develop, create, and document standard laboratory protocols
• Train students or staff on basic laboratory procedures and proper equipment use
