About the role
Perform a variety of complex technical duties involved in conducting laboratory tests, experiments and determinations in support of Duke University research operations. Individual will be tasked with helping support image acquisition and processing software for custom laboratory imaging devices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests, experiments, and determinations
- Support image acquisition and processing software for custom laboratory imaging devices
Requirements
- Prior experience in Python, C++, and software project management
- Bachelor's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology, or other directly related scientific field
Qualifications
- Prior experience with medical diagnostic imaging device development preferred
Pay
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.65 to USD $29.43 per hour. Duke considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, and market/organizational considerations when extending an offer.
