About the role

We are an early-stage, deep tech startup based in San Francisco, developing innovative hardware that rethinks human-computer interaction. We are backed by General Catalyst, Khosla Ventures, and Greylock Partners, with a founding team from Stanford, BrainGate, Oculus, and Tesla.

Responsibilities

• Wear a non-invasive, wearable prototype during the session
• Read English-language materials we provide
• Follow instructions from the study team
• Share brief feedback at the end

Requirements

• Adults 18 and over
• Able to attend sessions in person in San Francisco or San Jose
• Fluent English speaker, comfortable reading English-language materials
• Able to follow instructions and complete simple tasks on your own

Qualifications

No technical or research background is needed.

Skills

No specific skills required beyond being able to read English and follow instructions.

Benefits

• $20 for every hour of the study you complete, sent via PayPal after the session
• This is a voluntary research study, not employment. You can withdraw at any point and still be paid for the hours you completed.

Schedule

One session in San Francisco (SOMA) or San Jose, lasting 1 to 4 hours depending on the study tasks. No ongoing or minimum time commitment. You can take part once and be done.
