Only 10% of survey respondents say their learning is clearly connected to performance, productivity, or innovation in a way visible to leaders. Many learning functions are over-busy yet under-influential. Organizations seeing the greatest impact focus not on more learning tools but on how learning aligns with strategy, work, and talent processes. Notably, 68% of respondents agree that without change, the learning function risks irrelevance. The shift needed is from asking “What learning should we offer?” to “What must the organization improve to deliver its strategy?”
