Research Specialist with Security Clearance

About the role

Location: Arlington, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work onsite five days per week. Travel is not required. Military veterans are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level administrative support across multiple functional areas and locations
• Manage several direct reports and coordinate multiple high-complexity projects simultaneously
• Lead and provide technical guidance on strategic communications initiatives
• Manage customer expectations and serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Operate Defense Travel System (DTS) and advanced CATMS for travel and resource management
• Deliver quality written products under tight deadlines
• Assess customer needs through active listening and ensure satisfaction
• Exercise initiative, judgement, creativity, flexibility, and confidence in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Minimum five (5) years of specialized experience in strategic communications
• Executive-level support experience; DoD or other federal agency experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience leading and providing technical direction for multiple complex projects
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Proficiency with Defense Travel System (DTS) and advanced CATMS

Schedule

Full-time, onsite five days per week in Arlington, VA.
