Research Scientist V, S3

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide Windchill system administration support to the Army and the UAH RENEGADE Team
• Mentor more junior level staff regarding system admin and STIG compliance

Minimum Requirements

• Master's degree (or professional equivalent) with 84 + months (7 + years) of full-time work experience
• 3+ years experience with Windchill PDMLink (v11.x–13.x) installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Specialized experience managing Apache HTTP Server on Windows
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server administration, including maintenance, performance tuning, and SQL scripting
• Experience integrating Windchill with LDAP (OpenLDAP, OUD, etc.) and tuning Java/JVM Method Server settings
• Direct experience applying DISA STIGs to Windows Server, Apache, MS SQL Server, and Windchill application layers
• Proficiency using SCAP Compliance Checker and STIG Viewer for vulnerability remediation
• Candidates must possess a current Security+ certification or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment to meet DoD 8570/8140 requirements

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree (or professional equivalent) with 90 + months (7.5 + years) of full-time work experience
• Experience with Shibboleth, SAML, or Federated Identity solutions
• Scripting expertise in PowerShell for log management and automated system health checks
• Experience working in a Classified DoD environment
• Windchill Business Administration experience (policy management, account management, etc.)
