Research Scientist - Seed Responsible AI

About the Role

The Seed-Responsible AI team promotes safe and sustainable AI by researching its core mechanisms to provide insights and practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Developing advanced technologies in AI, particularly AI foundation models and AI agents;
• Conducting research on the technologies of AI to make them more reliable, safe, and trustworthy;
• Contributing to the development of products in the company with regards to AI safety and AI ethics.

Requirements

• Experience in research on ML, NLP, LLM, and familiarity with large-scale model training is preferred;
• Excellent coding ability, data structures, and fundamental algorithm skills, proficient in C/C++ or Python, winners of competitions such as ACM/ICPC, IOI, TopCoder etc. are preferred;
• Experience with influential projects or papers in ML, NLP, LLM is preferred;
• Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, able to effectively solve problems in technology development and applications;
• Good communication and collaboration skills, able to address technical challenges with the team and promote technological advancement.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $254,400 - $588,000 annually. Compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that may include additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
