About You
- Background in HEOR with a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical affairs
- Experience performing targeted literature reviews to identify and summarize model inputs and methodologies used in previous health technology assessments
- Able to identify considerations relevant to model development given available evidence and work with senior leads to conceptualize the design of cost-effectiveness models and budget impact models
- Experience programming, parameterizing, and validating economic models
- Able to conduct analyses, interpret findings, and communicate results
Responsibilities
- Contribute to diverse projects including cost-effectiveness analyses, budget impact analyses to support HTA submissions and payer decisions, early economic analyses, treatment sequencing analyses, and generalized cost-effectiveness analyses incorporating novel elements of value
- Contribute to the development of client-ready study deliverables such as model protocols, economic models, slide decks, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications under the guidance of senior team members
- Pay attention to detail and perform quality checks of your own work and that of others
- Assist with the delivery of components of projects by collaborating with other team members to ensure high quality outputs
- Ensure timely delivery of project components by flagging changes to estimates of required hours
- Contribute to client management by preparing slides for client meetings under guidance from senior team members, drafting meeting minutes and summarizing action items
- Communicate with clients on calls and sometimes support senior team members in responding to client emails
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally consulting experience serving pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare clients, with a focus on HEOR
- Master's degree in a subject related to health services research (e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or science such as biology, biochemistry)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Willingness and desire to learn and share knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Highly developed analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a diverse team
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a subject related to health services research (e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or science such as biology, biochemistry)
- Proficiency in R/R Shiny is advantageous
- Track record of relevant peer-reviewed publications
Pay
Reasonable estimate of the current range: $84,000 USD - $110,000 USD. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
