About the role

We are seeking a world-class generative AI researcher to join the fundamental generative AI research team at NVIDIA Research. The ideal candidate will contribute to groundbreaking research in generative AI methods for biomolecular design and other scientific applications.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement novel, large-scale generative AI methods.
  • Develop and analyze novel models for biomolecular design, including small molecule, protein, and RNA design.
  • Collaborate with team members, research teams, and product teams to advance the field of generative AI.
  • Transfer technology to product groups and contribute to real-world impact.
  • Speak at conferences and events to share findings and collaborate with the broader academic and industry communities.

Requirements

  • Completing or recently completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, etc. (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of generative AI.
  • Experience in building generative models for molecules, molecular dynamics, proteins, RNA, or other scientific data.
  • Strong programming skills in prototyping environments such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA).
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
  • Outstanding research track record.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, etc. (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in designing and implementing generative AI models for biomolecular design.
  • Programming proficiency in Python and C++, with experience in parallel programming using CUDA.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
  • A proven track record of original research and publication in top-tier venues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Skills

  • Strong mathematical foundation.
  • Ability to analyze and develop novel generative AI models.
  • Experience with large-scale generative AI projects.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Benefits

NVIDIA offers competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $168,000 - $264,500, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Pay

The base salary for this role will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

Schedule

This is a full-time position.
