Responsibilities

  • Conduct Advanced Research: Perform in-depth research in quantum computing, exploring various topics such as gates, coherence, and device theory to advance knowledge in the field.
  • Design and Simulation: Design and simulate quantum devices, leveraging expertise in photonics, interconversion, and Josephson electronics to develop innovative solutions.
  • Test and Tuning: Develop and implement testing protocols to evaluate and refine quantum devices, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work with colleagues to address complex challenges in quantum device technology, sharing expertise and insights to drive progress.
  • Theoretical Analysis: Apply theoretical knowledge to analyze and interpret results, informing future research directions and advancements in quantum computing.

Requirements

  • Proven record of research accomplishment.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related experience in materials science and superconducting qubits.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (Python or equivalent).
  • Doctorate degree in Engineering, Physics, or related experience in materials science.
  • Familiarity with quantum technologies and fabrication/process knowledge.

Skills

  • Deep Expertise in Quantum Computing: Proven expertise spanning multiple areas of quantum computing, including design, simulation, test, tuning, Josephson electronics, and device theory.

Location: Yorktown Heights, US (Hybrid)
