Research Scientist (Chemistry) - AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for an existing Research Scientist (Chemistry) to help train AI models. You will measure the progress of these AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve the quality of each model. In this role, you will need to hold an expert-level understanding of chemistry. Other related fields include: Research and Development Chemist, Formulation Scientist, Development Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Medicinal Chemist, Biochemist, and Process Development Chemist.

Responsibilities

• Give AI chatbots complex chemistry questions and evaluate their outputs
• Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
• Detail-oriented
• Solid knowledge of general, organic, and physical chemistry concepts
• A current, in progress, or completed Master's and/or PhD is preferred but not required

Pay

Projects are paid hourly starting at $40+ USD per hour, with bonus rates available on some projects. Payment is made via PayPal.
