About the role
The Center for Aerospace Resilient Systems (CARS) at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University seeks Post Doc Research Scientists to contribute to the advancement of aviation and aerospace resilient systems. CARS focuses on aerospace cybersecurity, AI/ML, data science, and more.
Responsibilities
- Support the acquisition, execution, and leadership of high-quality research projects in aerospace cybersecurity, civil aviation, and space systems.
- Collaborate with faculty and research personnel to pursue innovative projects aligned with CARS' mission.
- Contribute to the development and execution of research proposals and projects.
- Engage in teaching responsibilities, if applicable, to support student research experiences.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree) in a relevant field is required.
- Candidate must have or be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
- Expertise in aviation and aerospace systems, including cybersecurity, systems resiliency, and AI/ML.
- Experience in research design, data analysis, and project execution.
- Proven ability to collaborate with industry, government, and academic partners.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field is required.
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
