The Role

Research, Science and Engineering Services (RSES) contract supports the NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) in three interconnected domains: Aviation Transformation, Earth Intelligence, and Space Exploration Systems. AMA is expanding its talent network to address the growing demand for expertise in technology readiness levels ranging from fundamental research to flight-rated hardware design and development, leading-edge research programs, and multiple long-term, complex NASA missions, programs, and projects across the agency's four mission directorates and the NASA Engineering and Safety Center.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects aligned with NASA’s mission objectives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Develop innovative solutions using advanced technologies and methodologies.
  • Support the design and testing of aerospace systems and components.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong background in relevant fields such as aerospace engineering, physics, computer science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with software development, data analysis, and system integration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for advancing space exploration and Earth intelligence.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residence required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
