Research Resident

The role A six-month, full-time research placement for people early in a research career. You’ll own one question about data, rewards or evaluation, run the experiments, and write it up with a mentor from the research team. What you’ll own A research question, scoped with your mentor in the first month.Whatever the project needs: datasets, environments, training runs, evaluations.Regular progress reviews and plan adjustments.A report or paper and reproducible code. What you bring A master’s or PhD in progress or recently completed, or equivalent independent research.Strong Python and some experience with language model training or evaluation.Evidence you can finish a project: a thesis, a paper, a substantial open source contribution.Availability for six months full-time. Helpful, not required Publications or preprints.Domain expertise in one of our program areas.
