About the role
We are seeking a Research Program Assistant II to support clinical trials and studies aimed at discovering new ways to prevent, treat, and understand diseases and health problems. This position will assist the research team by implementing clinical research protocols, performing administrative tasks, and handling protocol-related duties that require an understanding of research procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collect study data by recruiting and coordinating activities of study participants.
- Utilize a basic understanding of the clinical study background and rationale to explain the study to potential and current participants.
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies for one or more studies, including print and web-based advertisements, contacting referring physicians, and participating in community events.
- Set up tools and procedures for data collection and study processes.
- Perform data entry and organize data in approved systems.
- Serve as liaison between the study team and IRB for routine administrative matters.
- Prepare routine reports related to study accrual, trends, and efficiency-related issues.
- Contact participants to confirm, schedule, and retain.
- Complete initial and follow-up participant visits, including home visits.
- Escort participants to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans.
- Maintain accuracy of participant clinical research data in a timely and ongoing manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of related experience.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Pay
Starting salary range: $16.10 - $26.90 hourly ($43,160 targeted).
Schedule
Monday and Friday, 9am - 12pm.
