Research Postdoctoral Fellow- Khandros Lab
About the role
The Khandros lab at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join their team in the Division of Hematology. The ideal candidate will have a doctorate degree and will work under the direction of a mentor (principal investigator).
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent scholarly research and develop new methods and protocols
- Participate in project planning, recording and evaluation of data
- Acquire technical, lab management and grant writing skills
- Participate in seminars, lectures, poster sessions and presentations at national meetings
- Supervise junior lab members
- Assist with other research projects
Requirements
Expertise in molecular biology, epigenetics, or computational biology is welcomed but not required.
