Requirements
- Hold a doctorate or postdoctoral training in physics or a closely related STEM field, with current or recent standing as a PhD candidate, postdoc, faculty member, or principal/industry researcher
- Carry first-author or co-first-author publications in venues such as Physical Review Letters, Nature Physics, JHEP, the Astrophysical Journal, Reviews of Modern Physics, or comparable top-tier outlets
- Demonstrate research seniority through a competitive fellowship (NSF GRF, Hertz, Sloan, Packard, Simons, DOE Early Career, Marie Curie/MSCA, or equivalent), named PI/Co-I grants, issued patents, or a research spin-out
- Evaluate physics problems and model outputs for correctness, novelty, and significance across subfields at the level of a working researcher
- Author challenging original problems that probe frontier reasoning from analytical derivation and quantum mechanics to astrophysical modeling and experimental design
- Collaborate effectively within a small, senior program team and contribute to structured review workflows
Qualifications
Outstanding senior PhD candidates and recent graduates with strong publication records are encouraged to apply. Research output depth is the primary signal.
