About the role

This position will provide dedicated nursing support, navigating clinical trial patients through study-specific procedures for the Department of Internal Medicine. The Clinical Research Nurse must be knowledgeable in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings. The work schedule for this position must be flexible enough to support the needs of cardiac and pulmonary critical care research.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the successful execution of industry-sponsored and federally funded clinical trials as well as department investigator-initiated research from protocol concept through clinical study report.
• Navigate clinical trial patients through study-specific procedures.
• Provide dedicated nursing support in outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.
• Navigate the needs of cardiac and pulmonary critical care research.
