About the role
Bayside Health is a public health service providing comprehensive care across metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding regions. This dual appointment combines roles as a Research Nurse and Clinic/Research Nurse at The Alfred, focusing on respiratory medicine services.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical research in COPD and PHT services
- Facilitate trials and coordinate research projects
- Aid in the submission of HREC and governance submissions
- Liaise with CRO monitors and other relevant staff
- Recruit, schedule, assess, and monitor participants in clinical trials and research studies
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Registered with AHPRA
- Desirable: Previous research or clinical trial experience

Skills
- Excellent data collection and management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
