Research Librarian

Research Librarian -Part-Time, On-Call, Remote- (Must Reside in GA, DC, MD, VA, IL, TX, AL, or NC) Please include "Part-Time, Remote " when applying. Cadence Group is seeking a detail-oriented Research Librarian to provide online research, content analysis, and risk identification support for a corporate library. This remote, on-call position is ideal for an experienced information professional who excels at finding, evaluating, and synthesizing information from a variety of sources under tight deadlines. Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive online research across multiple sources and platforms.Analyze content and identify potential risk issues.Prepare concise background summaries and research reports.Track research request start and completion times.Ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of research deliverables. Qualifications:Must be a United States citizen.Must reside in GA, DC, MD, VA, IL, TX, AL, or NC.MLIS or Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited institution.2-4 years of related professional experience.Advanced Boolean search skills and strong research expertise.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail.Preferred Experience Research experience using tools and platforms such as Factiva, Google, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Urban Dictionary.Availability with a 48-hour notice with 24-hour turnaround time.
