Job Summary
The Research Lab Technician Senior will assist with projects in building systems biology models to find drug regimens for treating diabetes.
Responsibilities
- Build metabolic models for human tissues and organoids.
- Work with experimental collaborators and provide guidance on top experimental targets.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, bioengineering or related field and 1-2 years of experience.
- Experience in computational biology and omics data analysis.
- Research experience in systems biology, computational biology or related field.
- Experience with omics data analysis (e.g. transcriptomics, metabolomics).
- Knowledge of machine learning/deep learning algorithms.
- Knowledge of systems biology approaches (e.g. genome-scale metabolic modeling).
- Proficient with R, Python or MATLAB.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning, genome scale metabolic modeling.

Schedule
This is a one-year term-limited position with the possibility of extension based upon need and funding. Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment.
