Research at Caelon

At Caelon Labs sits at the heart of our mission. We study commercial real estate, finance, economics, and private-market investing, turning complex financial information, methodologies, and models into the intelligence that powers our core platform. We are looking for a curious and analytically rigorous Financial Markets Researcher to work across research, data, and emerging technology. You will investigate complex financial topics, produce original analysis, collaborate with our data architecture team, and explore how artificial intelligence and large language models can improve financial research and investment decision-making.

• A strong belief in the importance of finding, structuring, and delivering high-quality information.
• Ability to take ownership of open-ended projects and turn ambiguous questions into clear, useful outputs.

Example Projects

• Conduct and publish original research on financial markets, applied economics, or emerging technology.
• Build data-driven research projects that support investment decisions.
• Evaluate financial datasets, methodologies, and models for use within Caelon’s platform.
• Help define how financial information should be collected, structured, connected, and analyzed.
• Develop research benchmarks and evaluation frameworks for AI-powered financial analysis.

Schedule

Paid, in-person position requiring approximately 20–30 hours per week.

Pay

Compensation includes a fixed monthly payment.
