Five to eight fellows will be selected to work directly with the research team on open problems in Large Visual Memory Models (LVMM), egocentric video, real‑time video intelligence, and multimodal memory systems, with access to GPUs, proprietary datasets, and 1:1 mentorship from former Meta Research Scientists.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate open research problems in Large Visual Memory Models (LVMM).
  • Work on egocentric video understanding and real‑time video intelligence.
  • Develop multimodal memory systems.
  • Collaborate with the Memories.ai research team and produce results suitable for top‑tier venues.

Requirements

  • Practical experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in video understanding, multimodal AI, egocentric vision, and large‑scale data systems.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and research ability (institution of origin is not a factor).

Qualifications

  • Existing or in‑process publications in relevant venues (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.) are desirable but not required.

Skills

  • Proficiency with PyTorch, JAX, or comparable deep learning libraries.
  • Ability to conduct independent research and write scholarly papers.
  • Effective communication and teamwork in a research setting.

Benefits

  • Access to proprietary video datasets not available elsewhere.
  • Weekly 1:1 mentorship from senior researchers (ex‑Meta Research Scientists).
  • Support for publishing results in CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR and other top venues.
  • Visa sponsorship available for international applicants.

Pay

Stipend of $1,000 per month for the 12‑week fellowship.

Schedule
