Research Fellow - Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM)
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). They gave examples. We need to decide which headings to use. Likely we should include About the role (job summary), Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. However we must not create sections with filler/placeholder text. We have content for each.
But note: they differentiate Requirements, Qualifications, Skills. In posting we have Education/Experience (requirements) and Skills & Qualifications (skills). Could combine or separate. We'll follow typical: Requirements (education/experience), Qualifications (maybe same as requirements?), Skills (list). But to avoid duplication, we can map:
- About the role: Job Summary paragraph.
- Responsibilities: Specific duties list (antigen presentation, etc.) maybe also the earlier list of complex tasks.
- Requirements: Education/Experience (Ph.D. focus).
- Qualifications: maybe the "Immunology, engineering, and cell biology experience is a plus." Could be considered qualifications. But we also have Skills & Qualifications heading. Might be better to treat Skills & Qualifications as Skills section. And Qualifications maybe not needed. However we need to avoid empty sections. Let's see what content we have for each:
About the role: Job Summary paragraph.
Responsibilities: The list of duties: "Specific duties will include basic and advanced immunological protocols including antigen presentation, T and B cell activation, cell culture and expansion, assembly of 3D constructs using biofabrication techniques, collection and organization of data, and assisting in the preparation of reports and manuscripts." Also earlier: "The applicant will perform a variety of complex tasks including antigen uptake and presentation, immune cell activation and differentiation, in vitrobiological and functional tests for verification of tissue construct viability and functional assays." Could combine.
Requirements: Education/Experience: Ph.D. with a focus in biological, immunological, engineering or biomedical engineering.
Qualifications: maybe "Immunology, engineering, and cell biology experience is a plus." Could be considered qualification.
Skills: The list under Skills & Qualifications: Experience in cell culture and immunology techniques; Experience in antigen presentation, T cell and B cell activation and differentiation; Experience with development and testing of tissue engineering constructs; Experience in biofabrication and tissue engineering technologies such as bioprinting, for creation of tissue engineered constructs; Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Science background a plus; General computer skills, including the use of Excel spreadsheets; Attention to detail; Excellent organizational skills; Time management; Excellent recordkeeping and documentation skills.
Benefits: The list under "Our Commitment To You": Paid Time Off programs; Health and welfare benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and Short- and Long-Term Disability; Flexible Spending Accounts for eligible health care and dependent care expenses; Family benefits such as adoption assistance and paid parental leave; Defined contribution retirement plans with employer match and other financial wellness programs; Educational Assistance Program.
Pay: Pay Range $30.70 - $46.05.
Schedule: Hours Per Week 40; Schedule Details/Additional Information Varies.
We also have WORK ENVIRONMENT description and About Advocate Health. Those could be considered "About the role" or maybe separate but not required headings. The instruction: include a section ONLY when the posting has real, specific content for it — never emit a heading followed by filler/placeholder text. We have content for WORK ENVIRONMENT and About Advocate Health, but those are not in the list of allowed headings. The allowed headings are those examples; we could still add other headings? The instruction says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It implies we should use those headings; we could also add others if needed, but better to stick to those. The WORK ENVIRONMENT and About Advocate Health could be folded into About the role or maybe omitted as boilerplate? But they are substantive. However they are not exactly about the role; they'd be about the organization. Could be considered part of About the role? The instruction says "About the role" is an example heading; we could use that for job summary and maybe include work environment there. But we must not invent or summarize away detail. We can include the WORK ENVIRONMENT paragraph as a
under About the role heading. Similarly About Advocate Health could be included under About the role or maybe under a separate heading like "About the organization" but not in list. Safer to include them under About the role as additional paragraphs. We must not repeat the job title as a heading. The job title appears at end: "Research Fellow, WF Institute for Regenerative Medicine". We must not put that as heading. We must not put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it. The metadata like Department 85107 etc. We can drop or put in a short p. Probably drop as minor metadata. We must remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. There's no explicit EEO etc. but there is "Note: Eligibility for programs listed above may depend on your FTE or status..." that's part of benefits note; we can keep as part of benefits. We must preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. Thus we need to output HTML fragment with sections. Let's craft:
About the role
The WFIRM Postdoctoral Research Fellow will participate in a research project to develop a new platform to enable the testing of vaccines. The applicant will perform a variety of complex tasks including antigen uptake and presentation, immune cell activation and differentiation, in vitro biological and functional tests for verification of tissue construct viability and functional assays. Research will be performed in a team environment and the applicant will be provided with a variety of procedures and techniques previously outlined by established protocols and other scientific data related to the production of tissue engineered constructs.
