Research Fellow - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Role: Research Fellow in Neuroregeneration and Neurorehabilitation, focusing on neural repair mechanisms using cellular, molecular, and systems neuroscience techniques. Responsibilities: Conduct experiments involving murine models of neurodevelopmental disorders, neurotrauma, and neurodegeneration; utilize transgenic mice, stem cell engraftment, pharmacologic approaches, and in vitro/in vivo studies; potentially incorporate human specimens and patient records; collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to translational research with NIH and other grant funding. Qualifications & Skills Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, or related field.Strong expertise in molecular/cell biology, animal handling, primary cultures, and quantitative analysis.Experience with murine genetic models and neural injury/regeneration models.Proven research productivity with peer-reviewed publications.Desire to secure national research grants and lead independent projects.Interest in neural regeneration and neuroscience.
