About the role
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is seeking faculty members (open rank) to join the department regardless of rank. Successful candidates will have a strong record of external research funding, as well as expertise in developing, leading or substantially contributing to research, education, and clinical programs.
Responsibilities
- Advances an externally funded program of research
- Publishes research in high quality peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Mentors trainees across levels of academic development
- Participates in division, department, college and university committees and initiatives
Requirements
- An advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D.) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program and following accredited training pathways in alignment with suitability for licensure and clinical practice in the State of Ohio
- Clinical degrees must be licensed in Ohio by the time of appointment
Qualifications
- Substantial research programs and funding, and without clinical training or eligibility may be considered for this role (e.g., Ph.D., in Cognitive Neuroscience or similar)
- Affirmatively interested in, and demonstrates prior commitment to training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care
Skills
- Expertise in randomized clinical trial designs, or related personalized treatment approaches
