Research Facility Laboratory Technician

Job Title: Research Facility Laboratory Technician Position Summary Support technical research programs involving product research and manufacturing operations by generating and evaluating laboratory-scale samples, conducting testing, and providing accurate, timely information to guide technical and operational decisions. Key Responsibilities Generate, process, and evaluate laboratory-scale samples in support of customer, research, product development, and manufacturing programs. Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain laboratory and processing equipment used for production support, routine evaluations, and equipment scale-up activities. Maintain complete and accurate records, including equipment logs, laboratory notebooks, test documentation, and electronic files. Perform internet, literature, and other information searches to support technical problem-solving and project needs. Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, standard operating procedures, Responsible Care principles, and applicable site guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Manage multiple priorities and assignments while working effectively with multiple technical supervisors. Collaborate with manufacturing, research, and other cross-functional personnel and interact directly with internal customers when required. Qualifications Experience performing laboratory, process, or product testing in a research, manufacturing, or technical environment. Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory or processing equipment. Strong documentation, organization, and recordkeeping skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively with limited supervision. Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, accuracy, and timely execution.
