About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable systems for pre-training large-scale models and optimizing inference performance for complex biological datasets.
- Develop sophisticated tools and methodologies for model interpretability to better understand and guide the learning process of frontier AI.
- Collaborate closely with the research team to translate theoretical advancements into robust, production-ready engineering solutions.
Requirements
- Holds a degree in Computer Science from a top-tier program (e.g., MIT, Caltech), with an ideal background or double major in Biology.
- Possesses 1-2 years of professional experience working in a frontier research lab or a high-growth, research-focused startup environment.
- Demonstrates exceptional technical proficiency in machine learning frameworks and a deep understanding of model architecture, training, and deployment.
Qualifications
- Exceptionally bright engineers who want to apply a research-focused lens to complex technical problems in the biotech space.
Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
