Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems.
- Supports meetings, teleconferences, and travel as required by projects.
- Reports to EITD Mechanical Engineering Section Lead.
- Performs simple and routine engineering design tasks with standard techniques.
- Assists more senior engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods, and reports.
- Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
- Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and four (4) years of related experience required.
- Minimal Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to use various engineering and documentation/analysis software, MS Word, and Excel.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to work independently.
- Conflict resolution skills.

- Organizational skills.
- Technical Communication skills (verbal & written).

- Ability to train others.
- Mechanical Design experience using CAD software.

- Mechanical Engineering design experience for the integration of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Mechanical Fabrication and Assembly experience.
- Mechanical Engineering experience for aerospace applications.
Pay
Annual Salary: $67,070 - $108,990
