Research Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work with raw sensor data from the company’s products and ground truth data to validate algorithms leading to important product findings.
• Collaborate with the software, AI/ML, and research teams.
• Engage with fascinating and highly complex time series data, respiratory waveforms, and room climate data.

Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience specifically with health data.
• Experience building ETL pipelines.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Python and SQL (NumPy, Pandas, time-series analysis).
• Strong validation and statistical modeling skills.
• Experience building cloud-based data systems (AWS and Snowflake), archival systems, and data storage.

Qualifications

• Fluent in usage with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.
• Knowledge in the sleep science space.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills among different teams and stakeholders.
