Position: Research Coordinator - Surgery Research
Location: Evanston, IL
Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Onsite Position
Local travel to other Endeavor Health locations will be required as needed.
Job Summary
Primary and back-up coordination of multiple studies, with minimal supervision. Ensures study protocols are followed and deadlines are met. Performs literature reviews and assists with manuscript writing. Trains and mentors junior staff members (Research Assistants and Senior Research Assistants) and ensures compliance with all regulatory and institutional guidelines. Proactively identifies and resolves study-related issues to maintain study integrity and timelines. Manages basic financial activities including invoicing and tracking revenue and expenses for assigned research projects.

What You Will Need
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Social Science preferred.
- Licenses: CCRP/ACRP certification or SRA International/NCURA certificate (or similar) preferred, as appropriate to the specific role.
- Experience: 1-3 years of research experience with strong knowledge of the clinical research study process preferred.
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Phlebotomy skills highly preferred (phlebotomy skills will be required as part of the job). Effective written and verbal communication skills. Organizational and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer skills. Highly compliant with respect to research policies and procedures. CITI Training Certification including: Human Subject Research, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI), Shipping and Transport of Regulated Biological Materials.
