Research Coordinator II - Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases (Bilingual)

About the role

The Research Coordinator II position at UTHealth McGovern Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases in Houston, TX 77030, provides day-to-day project coordination for research studies, including clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. Responsibilities include participant screening, enrolment, consenting, visit conduct and scheduling; coordinating and collaborating with multiple team members and faculty; AE/SAE reporting; and writing research notes and searching through EMR.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and data collection for human subject research projects
• Data management and entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supporting Data Management Sharing (DMS) plan
• Preparing annual progress reports and applications for various committees
• Assisting with regulatory submissions (IRB, FDA)
• Quantitative and qualitative data analysis, creating figures, tables, and graphs
• Research paper, presentation, and report preparation
• Budget preparation and review
• Cohort and inspection coordination
• Maintenance of study materials
• Administrative direction and training

Requirements

Bilingual in Spanish, preferred. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, preferred. Medical, therapeutic clinical trial, or similar experience, preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
• 2 years of relevant experience required
