Research Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Provides basic administrative functions for three SCPRT office areas (Research, Grants Recreation and Policy, and the Film office).
• Answers calls from general public as part of agency phone service.
• Performs procurement services for the research office.
• Performs data collection, analysis and reporting for Research office.
• Responds to requests from the general public for tourism-research related information.
• Participates in agency teams as needed.
• Collects daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly tourism-related economic indicators including tourism-related taxes, employment, hotel performance, air traffic and other data.
• Compiles, cleans, analyzes and proofs this data for use in basic recurring analyses, primarily for inclusion in internal and external publications or as base datasets for use by other research staff.
• Covers daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly tourism-related economic indicators including tourism-related taxes, employment, hotel performance, air traffic and other data.
