Research Coordinator

Role Overview: The Nurse Research Coordinator conducts advanced research activities to support IRB-approved clinical studies. Responsibilities: Schedule and monitor patient caseloads, perform study-related procedures (physical exams, TE, ECG, infusion therapy, phlebotomy, medication administration), enter data accurately into electronic systems, assess patient eligibility, develop data collection tools, facilitate monitoring visits and audits, and support research initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a science-related AA/BA/BS degree, at least 3 years of industry-sponsored research experience, and RN or LVN licensure. Certification from ACRP, SoCRA, or RACC is preferred. Must possess organizational skills, proficiency in EPIC or similar EHR/EMR systems, medical terminology knowledge, and reliable transportation for local travel. Key Attributes: Ability to abstract data efficiently from medical records, manage multiple responsibilities, and work under direction of principal investigators in a collaborative environment.
