Description
The research team of Dr. Madelyn Frumkin is pleased to invite applications for the position of Research Coordinator at Dartmouth College. The Research Coordinator will play a key role in the Digital Biomarkers of Postoperative Pain study, a five-year NIH-funded trial focusing on acute-to-chronic pain transitions after surgery.
- Assists with the development of study materials (e.g., IRB materials, Standard Operating Procedures).
- Carefully manages participant recruitment and retention, obtaining participant consent, and managing data collection.
- Conducts data quality checks and assists with manuscript preparation.
- Coordinates overall project operations, working primarily in an office setting in Lebanon, NH.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, data science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience managing research studies with human subjects.
- Meticulous attention to detail; organized, efficient, and able to handle competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a team member.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with research involving pain, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), and/or digital phenotyping.
- Experience with data cleaning and basic analysis using statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
