Research Coordinator.

Description

The research team of Dr. Madelyn Frumkin is pleased to invite applications for the position of Research Coordinator at Dartmouth College. The Research Coordinator will play a key role in the Digital Biomarkers of Postoperative Pain study, a five-year NIH-funded trial focusing on acute-to-chronic pain transitions after surgery.

• Assists with the development of study materials (e.g., IRB materials, Standard Operating Procedures).
• Carefully manages participant recruitment and retention, obtaining participant consent, and managing data collection.
• Conducts data quality checks and assists with manuscript preparation.
• Coordinates overall project operations, working primarily in an office setting in Lebanon, NH.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, data science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience managing research studies with human subjects.
• Meticulous attention to detail; organized, efficient, and able to handle competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a team member.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with research involving pain, ecological momentary assessment (EMA), and/or digital phenotyping.
• Experience with data cleaning and basic analysis using statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
