What You'll Do

  • Export Controls Coordination
    • Assist the Senior Director of Research Compliance and Research Compliance Manager in the implementation of the Export Controls program
    • Collect, manage, and distribute metrics for Export Controls
    • Other tasks as directed by Research Compliance Manager
  • Conflict of Interest (COI) Coordination
    • Aid with the annual COI disclosure process
    • Draft and manage active COI management plans
    • Provide administrative support to the COI committee
    • Collect, manage, and distribute metrics for COI
    • Aid with continual improvement process activities
  • European General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR), China Personal Information Privacy Law (PIPL) and others as needed
    • Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for researchers and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) in the area of the GDPR, PIPL, etc.
    • Conduct initial reviews of research projects that may be subject to the GDPR, PIPL, etc. and collaborate with the investigator to ensure that data collection and record keeping are compliance
    • Review study documents for GDPR/PIPL compliance and submit approvals to the IRB
    • Collaborate with Information Security and University Counsel where necessary to assist with complex reviews of GDPR, PIPL, etc. regulation
    • Ensure maintenance of documentation related to GDPR, PIPL, etc. review and analyses
  • Data Use Agreements and related tasks in collaboration with Tufts Technology Transfer and Industry Collaboration Unit
    • Administrative management of Data Use Agreements and related tasks
  • Administrative support to Research Compliance unit
    • Other tasks as directed

What We're Looking For

  • Basic Requirements:
    • Knowledge and experience typically acquired by: Associate's Degree
    • Knowledge and experience typically acquired through the completion of an Associates degree with 5 years related experience
    • Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of professional work experience
    • Detail orientend
    • Well-organized
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Research regulatory compliance experience
    • Project management

Pay Range

Minimum $61,200.00, Midpoint $76,500.00, Maximum $91,800.00

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
