What You'll Do
- Export Controls Coordination
- Assist the Senior Director of Research Compliance and Research Compliance Manager in the implementation of the Export Controls program
- Collect, manage, and distribute metrics for Export Controls
- Other tasks as directed by Research Compliance Manager
- Conflict of Interest (COI) Coordination
- Aid with the annual COI disclosure process
- Draft and manage active COI management plans
- Provide administrative support to the COI committee
- Collect, manage, and distribute metrics for COI
- Aid with continual improvement process activities
- European General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR), China Personal Information Privacy Law (PIPL) and others as needed
- Serve as a point of contact and subject matter expert for researchers and the Institutional Review Board (IRB) in the area of the GDPR, PIPL, etc.
- Conduct initial reviews of research projects that may be subject to the GDPR, PIPL, etc. and collaborate with the investigator to ensure that data collection and record keeping are compliance
- Review study documents for GDPR/PIPL compliance and submit approvals to the IRB
- Collaborate with Information Security and University Counsel where necessary to assist with complex reviews of GDPR, PIPL, etc. regulation
- Ensure maintenance of documentation related to GDPR, PIPL, etc. review and analyses
- Data Use Agreements and related tasks in collaboration with Tufts Technology Transfer and Industry Collaboration Unit
- Administrative management of Data Use Agreements and related tasks
- Administrative support to Research Compliance unit
- Other tasks as directed
What We're Looking For
- Basic Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience typically acquired by: Associate's Degree
- Knowledge and experience typically acquired through the completion of an Associates degree with 5 years related experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 2-4 years of professional work experience
- Detail orientend
- Well-organized
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Research regulatory compliance experience
- Project management
Pay Range
Minimum $61,200.00, Midpoint $76,500.00, Maximum $91,800.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
