About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment of women participating in ultrasound research studies.
  • Perform high-quality fetal ultrasound examinations.
  • Apply offline computing techniques to volumes of ultrasound data acquired using the E10.
  • Use these techniques to accurately measure fetal organ perfusion.

Requirements

  • Current registration as a sonographer or medical practitioner able to undertake ultrasound in Australia and/or relevant work experience.
  • Postgraduate experience in sonography during pregnancy.
  • Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and students.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to work both independently and constructively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience searching medical literature, devising novel research questions and initiating independent original research projects.

Benefits

Pro rata base salary of $126,711, plus 17% superannuation, leave loading and a market loading comparable to the Medical Radiation Scientists Award.

Schedule

Part Time (14 hours a week, but hours can also be negotiated).
