Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of cell biology tasks, including mammalian cell culture, virus harvesting, and transfections/transduction of various cell lines.
• Isolate and engineer primary T cells using different techniques.
• Perform functional assays to evaluate T cell responses.
• Assist with molecular cloning tasks including design, PCR, gel extraction, transformation, plasmid preparation, and sequence analysis.
• Collaborate with team on other experiments when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of industry experience.
• Required skill sets: molecular cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell line and primary T cell culture, and lentiviral transduction.
• Detail oriented, excellent organization skills and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of T cell immunology.
• Experience with TCE development.
• Experience with NGS sequencing and analysis.
