About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of the CMC - DS Process Development Group, responsible for process development to incorporate Client chemistries into our manufacturing platform.
Responsibilities
- Support oligonucleotide synthesis method development, optimization, and scale-up
- Support downstream processing method development
- Execution of in-process analytical testing
- Work with research and process scientists to develop robust processes for Client chemistries
Requirements
- Basic understanding of analytical techniques (pH, osmolality, conductivity measurement, HPLC, LC-MS, etc.); related hands-on experience is preferred
- Knowledge of oligonucleotide manufacture process, including phosphoramidite chemistry, chromatography, and ultrafiltration, is a plus
- Experience in record-keeping and excellent laboratory documentation practice
- Strong commitment to high laboratory and scientific standards
- Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory work environment
- Assist in routine lab and equipment maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Must be a responsible and proactive individual who can work as a team player in a highly dynamic environment with aggressive timelines
Qualifications
BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1-3 years of lab experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
