About the role

We're looking for a Research Associate to join our New York team and support our growing Real Estate & Construction division. This is an opportunity to build a career in professional recruitment while developing genuine expertise in the Real Estate & Construction market.

Working closely with the Senior Director, you'll research the market, identify talent, engage with professionals, and provide the insight that helps us deliver outstanding results for our clients and candidates. Your focus will be on research, talent identification, market mapping, candidate engagement, and stakeholder support.

You'll become an important part of our Real Estate & Construction team, gaining exposure to leading developers, investors, construction firms, professional services businesses, and the professionals who work within them.

Responsibilities

• Researching companies, markets, projects, and industry trends to identify potential candidates
• Mapping talent and developing high-quality candidate lists
• Identifying and engaging with professionals across the Real Estate & Construction market
• Speaking with candidates to understand their experience, career goals, and motivations
• Supporting experienced recruiters on live assignments
• Building market intelligence and developing a strong understanding of the sector
• Managing multiple assignments and adapting quickly to new searches and areas of research

• Has strong research and analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Is confident communicating with people at different levels of an organization
