Responsibilities
- Lead projects and work cooperatively with others
- Carry out and troubleshoot experiments
- Aid in manuscript and grant writing
Requirements
- Expertise in antigen-specific CD4+ T cell analysis using peptide-MHC multimers, protein biochemistry, and spectral flow cytometry
- Five years of postdoctoral experience in human immunology
- Ph.D. degree
Qualifications
- Previous computational and wet-lab experience
- Self-motivated and strong background in standard molecular and biological techniques, cell culture, immunological assays, and recombinant protein production
Skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of statistical modeling

About the Role
The Division of Rheumatology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff.
This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
