About the role
The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff.
This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).
Responsibilities
- Investigation of early mammalian development using molecular, cellular and imaging-based approaches
- Performing advanced imaging studies in intact developing mouse embryos
- Further develop expertise in embryology and live-imaging technologies
Requirements
- Expertise is required in the specific area of Time-lapse imaging, confocal microscopy, mouse embryology, image analysis
- Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of post-doctoral experience in the field
Skills
- Strong background in molecular, cellular, and imaging-based approaches
- Experience with Time-lapse imaging, confocal microscopy, and mouse embryology
- Excellent image analysis skills
